As of May 2025, Aston Cox received approval from the Fylde Council Town and County Planning Committee for a change of use application.
The change of use refers to a building that is located on our Blackpool / Saint Annes site that initially facilitated a Cox Motor Group Seat car dealership.
Now with planning approved, we intend to accelerate our plans to host a food and beverage drive thru facility.
We’re currently in the process of contacting various commercial estate agent that act as representatives for various food and beverage chain brands, with aim of securing a host to fit-out our facility in their brand’s decorative and operational guidelines.
Whilst we lead on this project’s front, we are also engaged with our rapid EV charging station project, which will be situated in close proximity to our drive thru facility.
Both projects of which are exciting and provide an exciting opportunity to benefit from one another, when fully operation.
Directly opposite from the project site is the Honda and Seat car dealership, owned by Cox Motor Group, which has been a staple in the local community for the past 25 years. This is crucial in securing our long-term goal of creating a community hub, thriving with business, networking and socialising opportunities.
